High handicap golfers
have very special needs that need to be addressed
The high
handicapper often has a good repeatable swing but is not
able to set the face correctly as often for the path they
swing from. Some times the individual has a higher handicap
due to not having the opportunity to play as often.
This means
that the clubfitter must be able to understand the needs of
the high handicapper. Pat Ryan Golf’s fitters are very
experienced in fitting the higher handicap golfer. They
will be able to have a very positive effect on the golfer’s
game. It is not unusual at all for a high handicapper to
see significant changes in their game when equipment is
altered or developed bringing it closer to the golfer’s
needs.
Very often
higher handicap golfers feel they need to improve their
stroke prior to having their clubs fitted where just the
opposite is true. It is only when the clubs are fitted
properly that an individual can improve and develop a better
and consistent stroke.
