Pat Ryan Golf is well
known as a leader in fitting junior golfers. Whether you
simply want a set of clubs cut down for your child or want
your child fitted with custom state-of-the-art golf clubs we
are here to help you.
We are
dedicated to the youth of Minnesota. What game teaches your
child how to live better than golf? It teaches them that if
they take a stroke they count it. It doesn't matter if
someone was watching or not you count it. It teaches
patience and humility. Children learn the things that we
would want them to learn. And it is a game they can play all
of their life.
We will fit
your child so they can enjoy the game. We are experts at
knowing what different age youth need. When the child is
fitted well they will play better and enjoy the game more.
We offer 3 different weight iron heads, a variety of wood
heads, and multiple shafts. Each club will be gripped to the
child's hand size. The fitting process does not just
determine the club length, grip size, shaft flex, etc., it
also determines what clubs the child needs in the set. A
seven year old does not need the same number of clubs as a
fifteen year old.
We have
fitted youth that are State Champions and youth that for the
first time in their life broke 130 (on a par 3 nine hole
course). They all receive our undivided attention. We want
every youth to enjoy the game of golf no matter how good
they play it.
You
should consider leasing your child clubs if you want to keep
your child in well fitted clubs at a reasonable price
CLUB LEASING FOR YOUTH
If you are buying golf
clubs for your children leasing will save you money. We
lease clubs for a fraction of what they would cost new. The
child uses the clubs for a year then simply turns them. Sets
could include irons, woods, putter, and bag. Each set is
fitted perfectly to the child by Professional Class "A"
Clubfitters. The fit is then guaranteed through the 12 month
lease period. If the child out grows the clubs during the
lease, they can be exchanged at no cost for a set that fits
properly. We have clubs for youth ages 5 to 18. You will
save a consider sum of money over the period of your child’s
youth. You also have the opportunity to purchase the clubs
at the end of the lease if they still fit correctly.

John Means coached
collegiate golf for 24 very successful years. He was
Golf coach at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point; Men's
Head Coach at the University of Minnesota; and is now Head
Women's Coach at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
He now provides camps and schools for all ages, but is
exceptional with youth players. Many of the best young
players in the area are instructed by John. And...and
